Avery & Ry love Jerry / Piha beach engagement photos

Where do I even begin!!? When these two reached out and told me they wanted to create magic and bring their golden boy Jerry along, my jaw dropped to the floor for real!! im a HUUUUUGE dog lover! I’m that one that wants to stop and pet all the dogs I see, the one at the traffic lights trying to get a dogs attention from the car next to me! I’ve also probably watched every dog movie every made! These two were also the first couple to ever bring their pup along to a shoot so I was so damn pumped for this!

It was only right that we headed to my favourite place with the dreamiest golden sunsets for their boy Jerry! Piha beach never disappoints and Jerry actually stole my heart! (80% of these photos are actually of him and i’m not mad about it!)

As a creative storyteller I’m always thinking of ways I can dig deeper with my couples and I knew Jerry was an important part of their lives. I wanted to capture the love connection between the two of them and their beautiful love for each other, but I also wanted to get that love they have for their pup and I’m so obsessed with these images and the story it tells!
